Scribedriver Bolt Action Pen

Amazing
Writes and draws pretty well (with included lead). Subatantially hefty, pretty slim and sleek, has a matching pen counterpart, uses 0.5 lead, comes with an extra 2 lead pieces out of the box. The seam between the 2 pencil halves were near seemless. Upon first twisting it open, I didn't realize something fell out. It was a spring. The pencil would still work, but the internals would rattle/not pop up at the max height without the spring. Once the spring was found, reinstalled, everything was good again.
Initially worried that the grip would be sharp like the screwdrivers but it has been smoothed down substantially.
Just like the scribedriver pen before it, this pencil is nearly flawless. I do wish they could have gotten a bit more out of the original shafts, but as an engineer, I understand the constraints they were working with. The body of this pen is exactly what I have searched for and been disappointed by time and time again from the likes of Rötring and Staedtler. The size and weight are "chef's kiss" perfect. The action feels smooth and there is clear craftsmanship and attention to detail in every part. I love this pencil so much that I am now on the hunt for a compatible 2mm mechanism to make it truly perfect.
I really love good writing tools, even i use them not so much. But the Pen feel really smooth and its a great writing experience.
Its Expensive tho but the idea of recycling materials and make products of them are great!
Both the pen and pencil are quality products!! This is how you upcycle!!
