The old lid broke in multiple locations and on multiple occasions caused laceration. The new lid does not. 10/10.

All it had to do was be the same as the V1. Had my LTT water bottle since 2023 bought the version 2 lid because the old one broke where the hinge met the lid. I bought it thinking I was going to buy something that's probably going to last longer with the same user experience. I was wrong.

A couple things stick out when you start using this lid. When you push back the cover in the version 1 it doesn't need effort to make it stay open, you just lightly flick it back and it won't move an inch. The version 2 however needs to be pushed back far enough where the hinge gets caught on a bump on the side of the plastic. This means you have to exert more force to get the same kind of experience the version 1 offers, that means it's more prone to hitting you on the nose, unless you remember to push it back all the way (when this wasnt an issue before). I cannot emphasize just how annoying that is. There isn't much else I can say that's good, it's more or less the same but has noticeably less plastic which probably means it's cheaper to produce for LMG. I don't know what that means for durability but considering it seems to be made with the exact same materials, I have very little hopes for its longevity.

Just a side note I bought this thing from Canada, why am I getting charged $20 for shipping alone?? I could have realistically bought the brand new water bottle from Amazon at the same price or spent an extra $20 for something better than an LTT water bottle.

Literally never made it into the country, had to ask for a replacement, tracking number for 2nd order still doesn't work

I have a few LTT products, and love them all.

Bought a water bottle a few years ago, and the lid broke. I went to buy another one, and realized they had re-designed the lid to help prevent it from breaking in the exact way that mine broke!

So I bought it, and I'm using it, and it's great! 10/10.
