Bringing this product to life meant obsessing over every detail of our development process, starting with the meticulous search for a material that could withstand the elements without sacrificing style.
We ultimately chose legendary British Millerian waxed cotton not just for its century-old heritage, but for how its specialized natural wax treatment creates a breathable, weather-resistant barrier.
STRUCTURAL REINFORCEMENT
Traditional waxed cotton relies on heavy, oily surface coatings that can rub off and trap abrasive grit that weakens fibers over time. By utilizing British Millerain's proprietary TekWax® process, a specialized super-dry wax finish is forced deep into the core of the cotton fibers to create a highly resilient structure that resists friction and won't attract dirt.
SUSTAINABLE CHOICE
The weather-resistant shell eliminates harmful "forever chemicals" entirely by utilizing a certified, PFC-free formulation. Production is localized at a solar-powered mill that utilizes a zero-waste, waterless finishing process. Any wax oversprayed during manufacturing is fully reclaimed, remelted, and 100% recycled into the next batch.
